At the very least fibromyalgia makes even the strongest minded individual stop and ask why. Why me? I can’t take it. What did I do to deserve this?

If you’re like most sufferers, you’ve tried so many things. You’ve taken various medications, You have been to many doctors seeking the cure. You’ve tried the magic supplements and herbs. You’ve probably even received some type of psychotherapy. You don’t know who or what to believe anymore.

I’m going to share with you how you can make it stop. Don’t let those negative thoughts of “no hope” or “being trapped” in this condition creep in. Please keep open minded because I want to let you in on something very positive. I can help you feel yourself again!

That’s right! Regardless of how bad you think it may be, I can help you! My name is Dr. Ted Edwards and I help people fight and overcome the debilitating effects of Fibromyalgia either at my clinic or in the comfort of their own home, no matter where they may live. To find out how start by completing this Inflammation-AutoImmune Survey.

For many, Fibromyalgia becomes a crippling disease. It ruins the lives of millions people each year. Why? They don’t understand the source of the problem. Most of the recent research on Fibromyalgia points to a biochemical/nutritional malfunction as the major cause. I’ve studied this topic for many years now and found that it has been linked to a yeast/fungal infection with associated dysfunction of the nitrous oxide metabolic pathway. Mycotoxins and mycoplasmas infiltrate joints and muscles leading to the ensuing pain that racks the body.

Here are the three biggest myths about Fibromyalgia:

The first one is hoping that physical activity or exercise will work by itself! Exercise is important, but it sometimes makes the problem worse without first identifying the true cause of the symptoms.

The second is hoping the problem will go away by itself!. Fibromyalgia actually gets worse when it’s ignored. People that put off the correct treatment can look forward to even more pain and suffering down the road.

The third is taking doses and doses of medication to alleviate the pain! This is the most dangerous of all the fallacies! Medication or pain killers, and mind altering drugs pump chemicals into your brain to fool it and make it think the problem is gone. All the while, because of mistreatment and neglect the problem gets worse. But that’s the not as bad as the terrible side affects of pain killers and medication. Not only does it make the condition worse, but also creates additional problems and even dependency on medication.

Here’s all you need to do to get started!
Complete this Inflammation - AutoImmune Survey

Here we look at some alternative approaches in the treatment of this insidious disease process.

People with Fibromyalgia experience to many muscle contractions to often. In Cerebrospinal Kinesiology (CSK) I use the cerebrospinal fluid system indicator pulse to ask the client’s body if their problem is one of increased neuronal action potential at the neuromuscular junction. This indicates a problem with the release and diffusion of acetylcholine into the synaptic cleft. A yes indicator pulse means we’re going to use CSK to treat for acetylcholine along with its receptor sites.

Of course we’re also going to have to check for an allergy or sensitivity to Calcium. Calcium is released from the sarcoplasmic reticulum inside the muscle fibers that provide the impulse that activates the action potential along the muscles surface. Put in simpler terms, this means a muscle contraction or in the case of a person with Fibromyalgia chronic muscle spasms. When your muscles aren’t working right we also treat the actin/myosin link because they participate in the production of the ATP needed to reset the circuit.

A person with Fibromyalgia often has an abnormal lactic acid pathway (glycolytic pathway) because their liver cannot “recycle” the quantity of lactic acid waste being produced as a result of prolonged, nearly constant muscle spasms. This makes clearing and supporting the liver with something as natural as the “Liver Flush Recipe” or as something simple and direct as Dr. Brimhall’s “Total Liver Detox” from Nutriwest.

When lactic acid levels are too high to be recycled by the liver there is less lactic acid converted to glucose. This is one of the ways that Fibromyalgia sucks the life out of its victims. This is part of what contributes to the overall fatigue, restlessness and pains these people commonly experience.

Pathologically driven glial activation is associated with somatosensory deficits leading to enhanced pain states of diverse etiologies. Because such pain facilitation is driven by glial release of proinflammatory cytokines we include the clearing of these in our Fibromyalgia protocol.

In review this CSK Recipe for Life includes the following treatments as needed:

Acetylcholine and it’s receptor sites

Calcium

Lactic Acid

Actin/Myosin

Glial cells

Proinflammatory cytokines

P.S. Cerebrospinal Kinesiology Treatments appear to reprogram the DNA in the cells making them stop reacting improperly as they have been and return to normal function.

               InstanceBeginEditable name="Article" -->
Definition

Fibromyalgia (FM) is characterized by fatigue, muscle and bone pain and specific areas of tenderness referred to as “tender points.” Other common symptoms include sleep disturbances, morning stiffness, headaches, bowel irregularities, depression and anxiety. It primarily affects women, but can also occur in men, children, and the elderly. Approximately 306 million Americans suffer from Fibromyalgia.

The Yeast Connection

Dr. Ted Edwards, as well as many other health professionals, have found that the underlying cause of fibromyalgia is a yeast-fungal infection. This causes the body to react to various toxins. It disturbs ones sleep. There are noticeable changes in muscle metabolism due to various vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Nervous system interference and dysfunction become the norm. Abnormalities occur in the endocrine glands which alters hormonal balance and disrupts energy production. The intestinal tract is inflicted with dysbiosis and leaky gut. Patients with fibromyalgia are more prone to injury or trauma and to infectious diseases due to their immune system dysfunction. They are often extremely stressed such that their adrenal and thyroid glands are exhausted. This along with bouts of anxiety and depression leads to a variety of traumatic emotional experiences. Many patient with fibromyalgia also experience chronic fatigue.

Treatment

While the typical treatment for fibromyalgia often includes exercise, rest, heat therapy and massage these are largely ineffective. Magnesium is important for cellular energy (ATP) production. It is also helpful for relaxing tense muscles such as those found in Fibromyalgia. Dr. Edwards offers a fibromyalgia recovery program, a new approach using allergy elimination technique s gleaned from years of study and research. His natural therapies, dietary modifications and nutritional supplementation support overall health, provide relief of symptoms, and are free of significant side effects.

To make an appointment for your FREE Fibromyalgia Evaluation

Call Dr. Edwards at (425) 776-8657.
